Summer Holidays

I had an amazing summer with Mum and Dad.

We spent a week in the Algarve with the Spillane Family snorkelling, swimming, kayaking and taking it easy in the sun. We managed to go on some huge slides at a waterpark and visited lots of beautiful, quiet beaches.

Towards the end of July, Glasgow was very busy and we had a few visits to the Commonwealth Games taking in Gymnastics at the Hydro and Table Tennis at Scotstoun to cheer on Scotland.

At the start of August, we met up with the Spillanes again with a visit to Belfast, Dublin's Croke Park to see Gaelic Football and a few restful days in Enniskillen exploring Fermanagh and the surrounding counties.

The craic was grand!

Summer's Coming

May and June have been busy months with lots going on. Fraser had a fabulous 2nd place in the school sports flat race.

Well done son!

With the wonderful weather and light evenings he has had lots of fun out playing with his buddies on the street.

We've managed a bit of biking up on the Braes and Fraser has also been Dad's pacer on a few running sessions.

Fraser has been carefully counting down the days until our Portugal trip with the Spillane Family. Not long now. His snorkel is ready to go and some of his spare time has been spent practising with it 'swimming' round the house in all his gear.

We're also looking forward to the Commonwealth Games and a wee tour of Ireland later in the summer.

Hope everyone has a fab summer.

Sad Times, Happy Memories

April has been a difficult month. Sadly, on the 2nd of April, Grandad Gordon passed away suddenly. We all miss him very much but have lots of happy memories of him.

Yesterday, Mum, Dad and I went on a cycle run along the Crinan Canal in the springtime sunshine. We also visited Inverary Jail and flew my kite.

Fraser worked hard over the past week on his Egypt Project. His final design comes complete with River Nile, canonic jar, treasure and mummy. Well done Fraser x
